What advice would you give someone starting this project? This pattern has a simple cable and very simple lace combination. It would be a good beginner project for either of those techniques. It is a fun little project and I will probably make another one in a softer yarn.

Too many holes for something meant to keep your head warm. Don't care for it.

Greatgram80733, take another look now that it's off the blocking plate. The holes really don't make that much difference now. I had it on in my kitchen for awhile and it actually did make my head rather warm, I am looking forward to trying out this fall....maybe not the dead of winter (LOL).

Very nice I love it. Where did you get the pattern?

Thanks. This is a Craftsy pattern. I think I added this project just when they changed the way we do it so I missed how to put in the pattern info. I will see if I can edit it to,get that in correctly.
