What are you most proud of? it took me a whole year to finally figure out what I wanted to do and I took the instructor ideas and changed them a bit to fit my purpose.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Plan out well. Take the instruction and make it your own. I ended up tweaking it for my purpose.

Wonderful way to use this technique. I think your planning and design shows off your artistic nature. Thanks for sharing and inspiring me!

I'm also in love with woods and everything outdoors, actually. I'm wondering if you used the same fabrics in a different order for each leaf. I like this technique of uncovering color and I can't seem to figure it out from your pictures. These are fabulous, I hope you don't mind if I use your idea. (Oh, but I love maple leaves, oak has too many lobes. )

I always switched one color and actually made three squares which I arranged on a aback fabric and zigzagged with variegated quilting thread. Can you see the picture in the back on right of the maple leaves? Those are I cross stitched leaves. I have leaves everywhere downstairs in my house. :-)

Being from Massachusetts where the seasons change beautifully, I too love leaves and the woods of Cape Cod. This is beautiful. Can't wait to get started with this class.

People will either love it or leave it. I love it. It will grow on the others. They will eventually fall in love with it. ;0) bad puns are my specialty
