Hungry Monster - Amigurumi

The inspiration!
A few more stitches to go...

Learn It

This project was made as part of a Craftsy course:
Amigurumi: Design Your Own Monster »

Instructions

I custimized the pattern from the class to replicate a digital image of a white monster that my boyfriend created. See the image attached to this project.

Difficulty:

Category: Crocheting

Type of item: Toy

For: Other

Style: Cute

Materials

Berroco Cirrus 2501 Rainier - A difficult material to crochet. I had to double it up because it wasn't thick enough. Plus it was difficult to see and count the stitches as a beginner. However, I love the fuzziness of it. Solid Black Eyes - .71" (18mm)

What was your inspiration?

A design that my boyfriend created on his website. I love turning a digital design into something tangible to cuddle with!

What are you most proud of?

I really haven't crocheted much before. My great grandmother tried to teach me how to start making a doily about 20 years ago.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Just try it and make sure to get extra yarn if you're a newbie like me!!
