What materials did you use? I picked bright colors from two different charm packs that I had on hand. Then as I started sewing, I didcovered that the size of a 5 inch square is not exactly the same from one company to another. Oops! Note to self---carefully check measurements of pre-cuts! The X's and O's quilt went to my great-nephew who already had one quilt of his own, but when I made a quilt for his new baby brother, he fell in love with that one, so I made him a second quilt of his own and told him it was "hugs and kisses." He immediately wrapped himself in hugs and kisses.

I probably should have used a blue rather than a pink border for my great-nephew's quilt, but he did not at all object to the pink. I think I just did not have any blue readily available that day. He loved the backing too.
