Learn It

This project was made as part of a Craftsy course:
The (Not So) Itty-Bitty Giraffe »

Instructions

The pop corn kernels were a good idea as they are too big to come out accidentally but still gives the toy some weight.

Difficulty:

Category: Knitting

Type of item: Toy

For: Children

Style: Cute

Materials

Hot Pink and purple Aran weight yarn. 3.5mm double pointed needles. Pop corn kernels as plastic pellets &Toy stuffing.

What was your inspiration?

My daughter wanted a giraffe too. Just like the one I did for my son. But she wanted it in hot pink.

What are you most proud of?

The big round portly belly :-)

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Try the corn kernels instead of plastic pellets. I couldn't find plastic pellets so I had to improvise. I used wheat in the blue giraffe but I had to put them in old clean tights first as they were so small. With corn kernels there is no need.
