What was your inspiration?

I saw this quilt and wanted to make my own :-)

What are you most proud of?

That I finally got it all sewn together , but I am planning to add more rows now

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Great use of scraps and very easy to do , also portable which is good .

Beautiful! How big are the hexies? Is it sewn by hand?

Hi, thank you yes it is all sewn by hand, each one measures 3 1/2 inches finished

duplicate posts happen to all of us. Sometimes it is just hitting the "enter" button on you keyboard too hard or for too long, so it repeats. Other times, it is because we don't see it come up on the comments, so we hit it again. Once I dropped my pen on the keyboard and it entered about 5 times!!!! Embarrassing.

yes it is all hand stitched , it took me a few years off and on because I just used scraps along the way :-)
