What materials did you use? Cotton Fabric, polyester batting, felt, muslin & embroidery thread, sewing supplies & tools. Try this on e-bay for a pre-printed panel of your own: http://www.ebay.com/itm/CUTE-HELLO-KITTY-PASTEL-NURSERY-FABRIC-35-FABRIC-PANEL-/360380560960?pt=US_Fabric&hash=item53e85af640

What advice would you give someone starting this project? You can embellish anything with a little imagination...so, have fun with it!

Pattern?

No pattern...it's from a Fabric Panel - I just embroidered around it and then make a quilt from it

I'm new at this. Never have made a quilt. Would love to make this for my daughter. Where would I find this kind of fabric? Do you recommend this for a beginner?

Yes- this would be perfect for a beginner. Where to find it is another story. it has been some time since I purchased it - but you may find it where there are Fabric panels - in a fabric store or perhaps on line. Good luck to you.
