Not a problem! Always a pleasure to share with others! Would love to see your finished hat. Think I mentioned that I made a matching one for g'daughter;s American Girl Doll - too cute (I think!)

Thank you all for your kind comments - was fun to do... here is the pattern! Hello Kitty Hat for Child Find a hat pattern for the age you want to knit it for. (I used Blue Sky Alpaca with #8 Harmony Needles) Make 4 ears (adjusting size accordingly) by CO on 10 stitches, Knit 6 rows (give or take 2 depending upon size of hat you are making) Next row K2tog, K6, K2tog then work 2 or 3 rows st st. Next row K2tog, K4, K2tog, P 1 row, K2tog, K2, K2tog, P 1 row, K2tog, K2tog (2 sts left), break yarn and pull thru. Sew ears together, sew to top of hat approx 1.5 inches from center. The bow can be anyway you want but at least 2.5" wide. I made mine by CO 18 st with Caron Simply Soft and worked st st for 6" then seamed together and wrapped tight with yarn to get bow shape. CO another 4 sts and knitted til long enough to wrap around bow and sewed tightly. Facial features - yellow embroidery floss centered about 1" up from ribbing. Eyes = buttons about 1" over and up from nose. Whiskers embroidery floss about 1.5 from eyes.
