What are you most proud of? I made it for my grand daughter Hannah when she was 11 years old and her mother has kept it safe for her.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? If you haven't learned foundation piecing this is a good booklet to learn. I've recently seen it advertised in my latest Clotilde Catalog on page 10.

I had problems getting the photo to upload and it published before I could add more photos, but if you will check out the matching sham you will see more of the quilt

I did! I love the modern piecing with traditional fabric - an interesting look! I need to visit OK during a State Fair! I've never been to a state fair!

They have really awesome displays. All the quilts were hanging in the air in LIttle Rock. It's 120 miles from me, as opposed to 50 miles to Ft Smith, so I've only entered this quilt there.

I hope to retire to Oklahoma some day - so I think I will have to visit Arkansas to see all the beautiful quilties!

We sure have them! There are quilting bees and quilting guilds all around, and some of the most beautiful handquilters I've ever seen. The local ladies proved that on my Family Ties quilt. The Ft Smith newspaper even came over to the museum and had a feature with photos in their dailey paper-of course I had to work at the post office that day and couldn't be there! e there! per about it.

Well, I guess that last part makes a lot of sense!!-Stop at "couldn't be there"

This is breathtaking - lucky Hannah! Thank you for the information about the paper piecing book - I shall have to see if I can get it in the UK. Patricia
