What are you most proud of? That I actually completed the project as it really is a lot of hand applique.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Take it slow, and try to do a little each day.

So beautiful! I have been working on a hawaiian quilt for about three years, and yes they are a lot of loving hand work. Congrats on finishing yours.

Thanks, my first Hawaiian quilt took two years, the last few have gone much faster, I find using a really good quality cotton or batik for the appliqu really makes it much easier as it does not fray as easy.
