Hi Kerrie, Brilliant Jumper! I was wanting to make a replica of the original for an average sized adult male. As an amateur knitter, I'm not yet up to making up my own patterns, and I was wondering if you could help me at all?

Hi Happy Feet. I suggest that you find a basic pattern to fit the man that is done in garter stitch. Then you'd need to do a bit of maths to get the position of the colour changes. I no longer have the jumper so I'd use this photo as a guide - looks like 4 rows of the first 5 colours,42rows green,2 white, 24 pink and about 24 blue in a 5knit 2 purl rib. For the heart, I think I decreased the green and increased the yellow both sides of the heart on the front side & knitted straight across on the way back until I reached the white row. No increase for the two white rows. Then increase the pink & decrease the yellow on every row until no yellow stitches remain. I opened the centre back & have 2 buttons so the neckline could be fairly high. I think the most important thing is getting the colours right, I took the DVD cover with me when I went shopping for the wool. I'm also only an amateur, so be brave and have a go you may just surprize yourself with what you can achieve.
