What was your inspiration?
I have made a few handprint quilts. This one is a wall quilt for a friends granddaughter. The granddaughter recently lost a close relative and her picture will be featured on the back. She will have one that is more washable that she can use every day without the center picture and photo.
What are you most proud of?
It seems to be coming together nicely.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Draw out your pattern and decide on a color scheme and then just get started. It really does help to take some of the craftsy courses such as pictorial quilts, painted quilts and machine stitching.
