Instructions

Just make sure you have your layers correct when you sew them together! There were a few hours between watching the video and me doing it and I did not double check...... so when I turned it inside out after edging the whole thing voila!! .. the batting had become my backing!
LOL at myself! Got creative and used some other halloween fabric that I put on the back and left a border to ...

Materials

Just picked out some bolt halloween fabrics and cut them up :)

What was your inspiration?

Just love the great purple and orange colors...... Jenny makes it all so easy and by doing something small like a table runner I can feel like I have created something quite quickily!

What are you most proud of?

Proud that I improvised after my huge mistake of not layering properly.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Check the video just before layering and sewing.... or have a little note with you.

How did you get the binding to travel round the internal corners?

Just wondering if you read my "instructions" because this project almost ended up in the trash!! LOL When I sewed it together prior to turning it "inside out" I had the layers in the wrong places. So when I turned it how it was supposed to be my batting was on the outside, not the inside. Not knowing what to do I simply sewed another layer of fabric onto the back simply leaving about a 1.5 cm of fabric hanging. Then since at least it was for Halloween I simply made cuts about every cm. or so on that edge so it would fray after bing washed. It was this or toss! So I laugh when I get a bunch of compliments like on my other quiting network but thank you for your interest. It is not nearly as impressive as people think but at least I saved my project : )
