I made this bunny costume for Halloween!

I think this yarn is discontinued, but it was based off of my "Ms. Claus" pattern - you could make something similar with pink yarn with the following mods:

Instead of the fur cuff, make a ruffle - CO 2.5 times the amount of sts called for. Knit for 1.75” even, then k3tog, k2tog across the next round.

Materials

Ribbon yarn, chunky fluffy yarn, and a store bought bunny tail and ears!

What was your inspiration?

I needed a Halloween costume, wanted to be a bunny, had some pink yarn that my Great Aunt gave me, and it all came together! :)

What are you most proud of?

I love the idea of knitted costumes, I think this one was a lot of fun and hope to do more!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

It is a simple dress silhouette that you can have a lot of fun with, I would encourage knitters to think of fun details they could add to make it into another costume!
