What was your inspiration?
My niece is getting married and asked me to make her wedding cake. She wanted it decorated with cherry blossom branches and sprays
What are you most proud of?
I was pleased with how quickly I was able to make the flowers and how nice the colors came out.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Make sure you leave lots of time for forming the flowers and letting them dry. If the flowers don't get humid, they can be made and stored months before they are needed.
