You could use almost any jumper pattern for this. I lined this to give it more body, then binded it together at the hem with some striped fabric cut on the bias and added my favorite pleated pockets.Difficulty:

What was your inspiration?
I like to make Holiday dresses for my 2 g-daughters.
What are you most proud of?
They are big Red Sox fans as well as loving the Grinch Christmas movie. I have the Grinch's touch turning the Sox in the ornament green, like himself!
I also like the way the Candy Cane font turned out. The striped cotton fabric that I used has glittery threads woven in. It really sparkles. They got a lot of compliments on them.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Any kind of a theme makes something special. If you line a jumper, you are also making it reversable for more wear. Lining is easier than making the facings you'd have to make otherwise.
