Share a little about the ingredients and techniques used to create this dish/item. This past week I discovered green shallots at the farmers' market. I'd never encountered them before. I would describe them as a cross-between American chives and scallions/spring onions.

At the farmers' market be on the look out for what's fresh and interesting. This was my first time cooking with green shallots and they were excellent added to a vegetable stir-fry. I used them in place of onions.
