What are you most proud of? How cute the finished hat is. And how cute my son looks in it. :)

What advice would you give someone starting this project? It looks complicated, but it isn't too bad. The short row shaping technique isn't intuitive, but there are a lot of videos on YouTube on how to do it and do it well. And the hat takes 100 - 120 yds, so it's a good stash-busting project.

If you click on the green "free pattern" button under the pictures, it should take you to the pattern page.

Adorable hat, modeled by a cute-as-a-button little boy.

is it possible to add a cowl at neckline made for large adult male? How would you do it? thanks, Linda

I agree that both baby & hat are adorable. Thanks so much for sharing!
