Greek Cross BOM June #1

Greek Cross

Greek Cross

Learn It

This project was made as part of a Craftsy course:
Craftsy Block of the Month 2012 »

Difficulty:

Category: Quilting

Type of item: Functional

For: Home

Style: Traditional, Classic

Materials

Scrap cotton fabrics

What was your inspiration?

I'd put a fairy in the middle of one of the earlier blocks and liked it, so decided to add another one to make the Greek Cross a bit more interesting (although I suppose it isn't really a Greek Cross any more).

Thank you. I've still got four blocks to do in order to catch up, but am having a bit of trouble getting a template sorted out for the Drunkard's Path blocks!

Your block is very pretty. I like how you have fussy cut your little fairies in a couple of your blocks. Your color combos really make your blocks pop. Beautiful blocks, very well done. :-)

I havent done this one, I wish now that I had bought all the fabric first, but I just made do with what I had, so is going to be a bit of a mixture of this and that. But I did make two lapquilts out of two different block the curved piecing, and wonky block. I take this one is for a special girl with all the fairies

Thank you - the fairies came into it by accident (or was it magic?). Not intended for anyone in particular, but I'm sure it will find a home as I have four granddaughters and one great-granddaughter, plus two daughters, a step-daughter and a granddaughter-in-law!
