Used a variegated yarn for the autumn leaves, and substituted a lace border for the bottom hem and cuffs. The sizing for the arms I calculated for the widest part of the upper arm, with ease, and when the lace cuff was finished I increased to that measurement to give a poet's sleeve effect.

I love how you did the bottom in lace. The yoke is also very well done. Great job.

I like the bottom of your sweater. What type of lace pattern did you see? It is hard to tell from the picture.

Finally able to get a little better photo! The pattern I used for the lace trim is a free project here: http://www.coatsandclark.com/cgi-bin/MsmGo.exe?grab_id=102&page_id=10094592&query=springtime+tee&hiword=springtime+tee+

The link I gave earlier was a typo! Here is the correct one: http://www.coatsandclark.com/cgi-bin/MsmGo.exe?grab_id=102&page_id=10094592&query=springtime+tee&hiword=springtime+tee

The lace border is a knitted shell pattern, similar to the feather and fan lace here: http://www.lionbrand.com/faq/520.html
