Instructions
Take out all the interfacing with a seam ripper first. Then sew the ties together to make a block whatever size you would like.Difficulty:

Materials
I used my grandpa's ties and made a wall hanging for my grandma to remember him by. I also made three small blocks for each one of their children. Heavy upholstery fabric was used for the blocks and corduroy around the edges.
What was your inspiration?
I wanted to remember my grandpa after he passed.
What are you most proud of?
That I could give this to my grandmother.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
It takes time to take all the interfacing out. Get a few good movies and enjoy.
