What are you most proud of? I love the way it turned out. I like the way I quilted it. This quilt is usually quilted around the edge of each octogon I chose to qult point to point.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? This quilt is easiet to make when hand pieced. It takes a good while to make so be very patient. It took me 6 months start to finish.

Beautiful! I love Grandmothers Flower Garden and you did a fantastic job!

Thank you. The quilt is completely handmade. I cut the blocks by hand. hand pieced, and quiilted. I wanted to do it exactly like my mom would have done it. We held a raffle for our family reunion in honor of my mother.

Love this, have just started quilting and started with hexagons!

This is a very easy quilt to set up once you get started. I have to do them by hand though I can't seem to get the piecing to come out on the machine. Good luck and welcome to quilting.

What are the size of the hexagons that you used?

10/15/2012 Flag

Becky. My heagons were probably about three inches. Art you making a flower garden quilt?
