Three Irish Girls Galenas Merino Wool yarn

What was your inspiration?

I am just starting to knit shawls and shawlettes. I wanted to make one quickly and this yarn worked up quickly with size 10 needles. This lovely soft yarn was perfect to wrap around my neck.

What are you most proud of?

I am happy that this turned into a nice quick project. It has a subtle beauty. It's a perfect shawlette for me and a nice shawl for my 4 year old daughter.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Choose a soft yarn that you can stand to wear next to your skin. The yarn I used is listed as worsted/Aran weight and I used exactly 2 skeins. You may need more or less, depending on you gauge so buy extra. :)
