Instructions

I've seen these pinecones made o several websites, but can't remember exactly where. You just put pine cones in a box in a configuration that will leave enough space to flip them around and spray all sides. You then spray the pine cones with the metallic paint of your choice, and use the chopsticks to flip them over for complete paint coverage. It's easy and satisfying. I'm addicted!

Materials

pine cones in various sizes, silver and gold metallic spray paint, cardboard box (to prevent paint mess), chopsticks (cheapies from takeout, used to maneuver pine cones)

What was your inspiration?

I love pine cones. I can't get enough of them. This had the added bonus of spray paint - double the fun!

What are you most proud of?

The beautiful product with minimal effort

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Just be sure to use the box. It's best to do outside.

So cute! Makes me think of the ginormous pine cone we found on our hike that one time, only this is way prettier. :)
