I think it's lovely that you design your own pieces. That means that everything you do in that way is going to be really unique. This is really impressive as a first try! Well done! Patricia

I love doing applique. I do it as often as I can. Where can I get the pattern?

Love this project - very pretty. How did you make the stems for the flowers? Thanks! Sheryl

hi Sheryl, Thanks :). I used brown satin ribbon for the stems. I was experimenting actually but it came out quite nice.

Hello, ZaZa, congratulations, this is a really beautiful wallhanging. Looking at it is bound to put one in a good mood. However, as far as I can gather, it is hung on a wire coathanger, which, in my opinion, is a pity as it degrades the overall impression of this otherwise lovely piece.

hi SabineEmma, Thanks for the kind words of encouragement :). Yes i hanged it on a coathanger since i have not been able to get a proper hanger for it yet. I am very new to this craft and is still learning even the basic stuff. If you care to look at another of my wall hanging project entitled "Apples of my eyes" its still lying on the sofa and i am not sure how to hang it on the wall. I am keen to get a proper hanger for both project so that they can be enjoyed appropraitely. Thanks again for the encouragement...makes my day for a newbie like me...:)

Hi Sabine, I have a photo of a wall hanging that I would like ZaZa to see. It shows how I did the top of it to hang. How do I add a photo to one of these comments? Do you know?
