What was your inspiration?
I liked the simplicity of the tree design, it then gave me the opportunity to work with layering the quilting learnt in this course. I have also made another one but used straight line quilting - it's very much the modern style.
What are you most proud of?
Being able to modify the design as I went.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Think carefully as to what needs to pop out the most - I probably wouldn't quilt the tree so much, but then I was working backwards with this, and it is an example, so I'm not going to worry about it too much. I think it still looks good.
