I found this online and thought I would give it a try since we were being over run with fruit flies!!Take a bowl or small glass and fill it with red wine...set on counter or window sill or wherever the pesky things are gathering and let sit

What advice would you give someone starting this project?
does not have to be an $$ wine....the one I used was actually 2 yrs old (not drinkable lol) and just let it sit....it starts to look kinda gross after a couple of days but that seems to be when they really like it!! Just leave the bowl or glass sitting till you dont see any more flies....
Our bowl was FULL!!!!!
