French seamed envelope pillow

Learn It

This project was made as part of a Craftsy course:
Sewing Studio: Fashion Fitting, Home Decor & More »

Instructions

Definately use an iron. I've never used one whilst sewing so much, too lazy, made a difference though.
Next time I will pin across centre as well when joining front and back. I had a bit of movement even though I pinned all around out side.

Difficulty:

Category: Sewing

Type of item: Home Decor

For: Home

Style: Casual

Materials

Patterned fabric by Riley Blake Designs "Fiona's Fancy" I couldn't find a plain matching green so I used Brown quilting fabric "Coffee Bean" Both fabrics bought at Spotlight in Australia

What was your inspiration?

Inspired to learn the basics again before attempting to make fashionable clothing for this years invitations that I'm happy to be seen in.

What are you most proud of?

I actually finished it even though its not perfect, usually it would become a DNF project at the back of the cupboard.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Watch the video before starting so you have a basic understanding of what's going on without pressure.
