I LOVE this foot. This pillow was my first attempt at figuring it out. Very fun.I think that Husqvarna-Viking is the only other manufacturer who makes this foot. Janome made one (Miracle Stitcher) that you can sometimes find on eBay.

What was your inspiration?
I have a sewing studio and partnered with a Bernina dealer (they are Mennonite and live about 35 miles away; they do not drive cars). They are unable to get to this area to teach classes, so I do it. Yes, I am the luckiest person in the world! They loaned me some machines and some feet. I found this on the Bernina website and wanted to try it out.
What are you most proud of?
Hmmm - it's not that difficult to do. Finding the cord can be tricky - we have a Hobby Lobby that sells it (as does our Bernina dealer). It's used for macrame (like those "The Sak" bags). I tested out some yarns, but most didn't work too well.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Just do it. It might get tangled, but who cares.
