Materials

I used vintage kimono fabric, strong glue, fortune cookie clutch frame

What was your inspiration?

My inspiration was the vintage kimono fabric.

What are you most proud of?

This was my first step into the world of making clutches. I used the tutorial by Lisa Lam from U Handbag to guide me through the steps. I am very happy with the finished result

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Take your time and be careful with the glue.

Omg girl your bags are absolutely beautiful. Your designs, fabric and hardware choices add such a flair. You really need to look at making and selling bags. I guess I will have tontake a look at the classes I registered for making bags. Was not going to do until spring......butvafter seeing yours "spring has sprung"

Thanks Marilee, I'm self taught in the bag making world, but would love to see some purse and clutch making classes in Craftsy. I'm sure there are lot of tricks I could learn. :)
