This project was made as part of a Craftsy course:
Free Motion Quilting a Sampler »

Instructions

I have used black thread on black and grey on most of the colours unless they have black in the fabric as black thread would be too much on many of them.

Category: Quilting

Type of item: Home Decor

For: Home

Style: Casual

Materials

Cotton, wool/cotton batting, quilters calico

What was your inspiration?

My love of loud colours

What are you most proud of?

The feathering on the octagon, I think its a good first go! The back looks good too.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Wind lots of bobbins, and show no fear. Remember, its not a mistake, its a design feature :)

I like the dresden the best. I love the way you made the swirl in the center, and the line in the blades. Beautiful.

Thanks rApril. It was mostly fine, but when I got tired it was hard to keep track of the thread, and some pebbles got a bit dodgy.
