What materials did you use? muslin and cotton batting scraps good quality thread

What are you most proud of? How much fun this is ... and how fast I can cover space.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Use good quality thread - I used overlocking/serger thead on the fish quilt and had heaps of issues with thread breaking and eyelashes. I had none of these issues with these practices. After these practices I decided to start the class project as Leah says the best way to improve is to quilt a whole quilt and not get too obsessed about perfection - it's not noticable on a couch or bed quilt.

Doing practice squares is a great idea. It would be fun to color these blocks after quilting with something like intense pencils. Thanks for the idea!
