I consider myself an advanced sewer, and have used many different types of patterns over my sewing "career," but I actually found this pattern quite difficult to follow, especially in the beginning. I purchased it to make for a friend as a gift, (she chose it) and though I tweaked some parts per her request, I followed the majority of the pattern to completion. The biggest issues that I had were that the pattern pieces were given similar (and thus often quite confusing) names and were never labeled, so you have to basically figure out what pieces you're working with as you go along. Also, in the beginning the pictures in the tutorial show one fabric being used for a specific part, and then later it has switched to a completely different fabric with no mention of the change or reference to it in the directions. The change of fabric, combined with the name of the part, almost lends you to believe they are two different parts of the same wallet and you've missed a few steps.
