What was your inspiration?
I wanted to help this young lady to make a garment for herself and when I saw the pattern and instructions in the course, it seemed a perfect choice.
What are you most proud of?
I am very proud of the fact that we started and finished this hoodie in an afternoon and she had never sewn anything bigger than dolls clothes before. The look on her face when she was able to put it on and wear it was very gratifying and we are both looking forward to trying out the other patterns.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
It is very clearly explained in the videos and very simple to put together. For anyone who is just beginning to sew, it is a terrific first project and for people with more sewing background, the possibilities for creative expression are endless. The pattern is simple to put together and very clear..Have a go and have some fun.
