What are you most proud of? I am a Project Linus Blanketeer and was so excited to learn of this easy embellishing technique. It's quick, easy and perfect for a charity project. I want my blankets to be nice, but don't always have the time to sew a quilt. I'm delighted with the results! The crocheted edge lends a wonderful, special touch to the fleece blanket and compliments the bright, soft fabric.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Usually fleece comes about 50" wide (or so). Purchase 1 & 1/2 yards for a nice size blanket. Cut off the selvage eges and square up the sides before using the skip stitch blade. I experimented with different distances and made my holes with the skip stitch blade about 1/2" from the edge and liked it much better than the recommended 3/4" (which I found resulted in a edge that was too thick, heavy & bulky). The holes at 1/2" from the edge worked beautifully. This is a fun project to do in front of the TV.
