What was your inspiration?
Fit Your Knits! I had broken my arm and was bored because it was hard to knit and I really wanted knitting in my life, any kind. So I decided to buy the class and just watch it. I was so excited about the information that I decided to make a sweater. I swatched and the swatch didn't come out the right gauge for the pattern so I also decided to modify the pattern to make my swatch work. This was the first time I had ever attempted this. I also had to knit in the round since I had a cast on and the purl stitch was very hard to do so I steeked it.
What are you most proud of?
That I made this with a broken arm and that it fits nice. There are something things I would change and I've already applied them in my next sweater.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Jump right in! You'll be able to use this information every single time you make another sweater.
