What materials did you use? Assorted batiks and quilt cottons including "Sphere" from Benartex, pattern is adapted from The Modern Applique Workbook by Jenifer Dick. Quilting concept from Angela Walters' blog, but done during Elizabeth Dackson's class.

Just so beautiful! I love it. I have a pisces friend, she would love to geht a cushion like this. I'll have to save it as a project. Thanks for sharing.

I love this..it's hard to see the fmq lines on it though..the fabrics take center stage...but it's awesome

Thank you. You're right - the background fabric is very dominant, but the spheres fabric was so perfect for representing the ocean, I couldn't resist it.
