Fishing Anyone

No beer. no talking

I'll fish there too
No beer. no talking
Is this your project? Can you share instructions or a pattern with the Craftsy community?

Difficulty:

Category: Embroidery

Type of item: Home Decor

For: Men

Style: Outdoorsy

Materials

embroidery design, plain fabric, batting, ribbon, and clasp

What was your inspiration?

Brother-in-law loves to fish and invited us to see his new lodge. Had to send something that was appropriate for him.

What are you most proud of?

How well the towel holders came out and that you can change the towel when dirty.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Embroidery should be done first on a larger piece of fabric than the final product. When you are sure it is centered, pin all layers together and cut as one piece which will reduce the time spent matching all layers.
Serge bottom edge of the front piece, batting and inner piece of fabric, do the same for the back. Then with rights sides facing, insert ribbon for top and a ribbon at bottom (to hold towel) and then serge sides and
top. Turn inside out and put bias tape around the bottom.
