What was your inspiration?

Learning how to quilt , something I had always wanted to do. This class was offered by Ursula Riegel in 1997 Victoria BC .

What are you most proud of?

I learned how to do most of this by hand ! and I finally completed a project!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

GO FOR IT! You must learn something everyday to keep your mind sharp. Why not make it a useful craft!

I like your quilt !! I have not used boarders around my blocks yet, something to do when I retire. The yellow and greens are such a nice mix of colors. Very interesting quilt. I like the touch of pink also. All the squares would be a learning experience in themselves. I have not done y squares yet. Beautiful quilt!!

What is the pattern called for the block that looks like 3-D blocks? I have a new grandson on the way and have been trying to figure out what to do for a baby quilt and think this would be adorable done in little boy colors.
