What materials did you use? Metallic and embroidery threads, yarn, rick rack, ribbon, and beads.

What are you most proud of? I found out I'm more creative than I thought.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Watch the video twice before you begin sewing and then don't worry, you can't make a mistake. And use a piece of fabric that isn't too busy!

This is just beautiful! For a first piece, you created something quite wonderful!

Thank you Carol, next time i will use a plainer fabric. Just couldn;t get past using a fabric I loved and it was pretty busy!

Actually, I love your background fabric. Even though not all your stitches are visible, I think the whole piece has so much interest and depth.

Thank you Carol. It shows up much better in person. My friends who have seen it love, it. I will ask your opinion of the fabrics I choose next time.

I think it is just beautiful. My eye was taken to it immediately. And I know it looks even more spectacular in person.

Thank you Liz.

The little whorls seem to radiate energy because your couching doesn't go all the way to the edge. Neat!
