What are you most proud of? Without the course, I don't think I would ever have got motivated to starting to learn this skill. I thought it would take weeks to complete a cushion cover. I'm a visual learner and trying to learn from a book doesn't really work for me. Once I have made it up into a cushion cover, it will take pride of place on my bed.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? I put my husband's car inspection lamp under my quilting extension table. This enabled me to trace my pattern onto the silk very easily!

This is wonderful. It is very interesting that you ditched the hoop. I think when I try hand quilting again I will do that as well to see if I go any better - thanks for your inspiration!
