What was your inspiration?
reading the article in the magazine - Jacquie aims to teach hand quilting to all and her website has some beautiful work. My daughter wants me to hand quilt the cuffs and hem of her wedding gown (Feb 2014) so I need all the practice I can get!
What are you most proud of?
that I actually finished this piece! I worked hard at it and then found Andi's class on Craftsy which has helped me to understand more about how to properly work the quilting stitch so I plan to keep working on it now
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
watch Andi's class - and maybe start with something simpler:-)
