What materials did you use? Hand dyed merino and a 1.32oz top whorl spindle

What are you most proud of? The consistency. This is the first 4oz braid of fibre I ever purchased. I added in the first balls of yarn I ever spun. I found it difficult to spin this merino on a heavier drop spindle so I out it aside to work on the kit New Zealand natural, with good results. When I received this spindle in the mail yesterday I put it to work on the left overs and I have been very pleasantly surprised with the consistency I have achieved. I do not know what I should ply this yarn with as I have put in enough twist to do so. Aah something will come to me.

Looks like you have really gotten the hang of this!! Do you have enough of the merino roving to spin another yarn of the same length? It would be nice to ply it with itself!

Thank you - I find it really relaxing and I am really enjoying this new found hobby! I found a bit more of the same fibre ... I might be able to spin a thinner single to try to make a plying single.. I wonder if it is strong enough to use on its own. The twist has relaxed quite a bit since when I spun it so I do not think that the twist will be too much of a problem. I want to use it for something - I just don't know how much I have so I will have to figure out how to count the yardage! Thanks for your encouragement - you are a great teacher... I hope craftsy have you doing more classes as I would definitely take them!
