Instructions

This is a great first felting project, and ideal to make with kids too !

My tutorial includes TONS of step-by-step pics so that it's easy to see the whole process.

I've made tons of those with both adults and kids, it's always a joy and everybody loves the end product :-)

Materials

regular soaps, + carded wool and combed top (some of it hand-dyed by me)

What was your inspiration?

One of my students made a felted soap with a bright area of color on one side.. I loved it so much I had to try that design too ! :-)

What are you most proud of?

the way the soaps never turn out completely how you planned them to be.. yet they're always beautiful :-)

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

have fun ! this will be an enjoyable moment (about 1 hour altogether for a first felted soap) and it's a great first experience of the felting process
