Materials
Fingering weight wool yarn (must be appropriate for wet felting, so not "super wash") plus glue, satin ribbon, assorted sequins, and straight pins.
What was your inspiration?
Every year I design and make a new ornament to give to friends and family. The year I first made these (2008), I was new to wet felting and just had to find a way to work that into my ornaments. This is what I came up with!
What are you most proud of?
I've never seen anything like them anywhere!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
I've posted the pattern on my blog. Included are basic instructions on the half double crochet stitch, crochet in the round and wet felting techniques.
