Thanks for the "Welsh" lesson. Bits an bobs is much prettier to say than scraps! I think I shall work that into my conversations with quilting friends from now on. Regret I have no idea where my grandfather was born. Dad born in 1909, in Liverpool, but that's as much as I ever knew. I think the children came to the United States (there were 7 or 8 of them) in stages.

Love the colors! "Bobs" ---- curious what that means. My Dad born in England (came to US as a child) and grandfather in Wales. Always wanted to see it.

Bits and Bobs means scraps. What part of Wales? We live in West Wales, in a place called Pembrokeshire.
