What was your inspiration?

My line of diaper cover patterns began with a basic, well-fitting cover inspired by the impending birth of my son (who is now 2, where does the time go?). I was 2 weeks overdue with him and bored! When I finished sewing him more diaper covers than any one baby should have, I started tinkering with the pattern, and developed the ruffled and skirted diaper cover patterns.

What are you most proud of?

Beginners who sew this up and show me their beautiful creations! Feels so good to teach someone to sew this pretty cover.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Pattern includes sizes 0-24 months. Don't be afraid, it's only sewing straight lines and ruffling ... and ruffling is sewing straight lines too! Ruffles take a little while, but ruffled bottoms are worth the time!
