I used my very favorite yarn - Koigu! I typically used KPPM, or KPM but for this project I used Kersti. I loved the vibrant colors and it knits up beautifully. The pattern was a cinch and knitted up quickly. The eyes and teeth were done in duplicate stitch. I had never done duplicate stitch before, but that proved to be easier than I thought.
What was your inspiration?
My sister is expecting her 4th baby. I agonized over what I should make, so I asked her what she preferred, and she picked these!
What are you most proud of?
The colors. I bought all the yarn online so I had to trust my gut and go with what I picked. Choosing multiple colors online isn't easy. I usually like to line them all up, and switch combinations 50 different times!
