What was your inspiration?
I had never seen cameos made of opal before & felt it needed something classy, without detracting from the cameo itself. I used sterling silver wire & let my imagination go. What you're seeing is the result.
What are you most proud of?
The finished wrap shows off the cameo with class & does not override the stone itself.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Take it slow. The trick to wire wrapping is patience & practice. LOTS of practice.
