What was your inspiration?
I have used this design as Birthday cards, Table Centre pieces for my Grandson's Christening and also as gifts for friends for significant birthdays, engagements etc.
What are you most proud of?
The box shown is the first time I have used the glittery cardstock and found that I needed to use the glue gun to secure the papers to the cardstock. I love the fact that I used multi mediums for this box. It has the sparkly cardstock, ribbon, feathers and a diamonte buckle. There is no limit to what you can use and each box becomes very unique.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
It is essential to have your measurements exact. I found that all 30 x 30 sheets of cardstock are not exactly 30 x 30 and I have to trim about a 1/4 of an each across and down. If adding more layers of photos you need to make the lid a little larger than the 10 cm box sides.
